Plan on cheating in Overwatch or know someone who does? Well, Blizzard is taking Bossland, a company out of Germany for selling a cheat program that’s called Watchover Tyrant  for messing with their game.

TorrentFreak reports that this is certainly not the first time Blizzard has gone after cheatmaker Bossland; oh no, this is a long time coming for both companies as Bossland has created similar programs for other games from Blizzard including World of Warcraft and Heroes of the Storm to name a couple.

“Defendants’ sale and distribution of the Bossland Hacks in the United States has caused Blizzard to lose millions or tens of millions of dollars in revenue, and to suffer irreparable damage to its goodwill and reputation.”

“Moreover, by releasing ‘Overwatch Cheat’ just days after the release of ‘Overwatch,’ Defendants are attempting to destroy or irreparably harm that game before it even has had a chance to fully flourish.”

As you can see above, the cheat engine is causing massive and irreparable harm to Blizzard by violating copyrights and terms of service.

Hopefully with some help, Blizzard can get tools like this off the playing board for the future, Overwatch is a popular game and for it to be hindered by such devices will split the player base.
