Today marks the launch of the epic first-person shooter from Deep Silver and Dambusters. They also revealed new Expansion Pass and online co-op Resistance Mode details.
Homefront: The Revolution is a 30+ hour campaign set in 2029 in the city of Philadelphia where independence and democracy no longer exist. The online co-op Resistance Mode allows you to have up to four players on a team and offers a new guerrilla warfare gameplay experience.
New details were also revealed for the Expansion Pass. The Homefront: The Revolution Expansion Pass will include three single-player campaign expansions as well as exclusive bonuses for us in the online Resistance Mode.
Coming later this year, The Voice of Freedom and Aftermath will both add new districts and several hours of single-player content to the already massive 30+ hour campaign. Beyond the Walls, a much bigger expansion, will be coming later in 2017 with details to come.
Expansion Pass holders will also receive additional benefits such as:
- A FREE resistance crate each week just for logging into Resistance Mode
- ‘The Right Kind of School’ unlocks three new starting backgrounds for your Resistance Mode character (ATF Agent, G-Man, and U.S. Marshall.
In addition to the 30+ hour campaign, the Resistance Mode will launch with six missions (first set of missions arrive in June). All additional missions will be FREE and the developers are dedicated to delivering high-quality content for the first year at no additional cost.
Homefront: The Resistance launches TODAY in North America with a May 20th release date in other parts of the world. The game launches on PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
